Kašperk Castle
The silhouette of the highest royal castle in Bohemia (886 m above sea level) can be seen from many viewpoints in the Šumava region. The castle is just 3 km on foot from Kašperské Hory. You can also drive to the castle’s parking lot, from which it’s a 1.5 km walk with minimal elevation gain—ideal for families with strollers.

The Museum of Historic Motorcycles in Kašperské Hory is among the oldest private museums of its kind in the Czech Republic. The exhibition is designed to captivate not only enthusiasts but also laypeople, children, and ladies.
The exhibits are arranged to evoke a city street, where you might encounter residents proudly displaying their gleaming machines, riding bicycles, strolling in period attire, or simply out for a walk with children and, of course, a vintage pram.
